Refund Policy

Nigel wants every student to feel confident enrolling. If something isn’t right, get in touch and he’ll do his best to find a fair solution.

Self Study Courses

Because self-paced digital courses provide immediate access to all course materials upon enrolment, refunds are available within 7 days of purchase provided you have not accessed more than 20% of the course content.

To request a refund for a self study course, contact Nigel at nigel@ancientlanguages.school within 7 days of your purchase date.

Online Classes — Group Cohort

For live group cohort courses, the following refund terms apply:

More than 7 days before the start date — full refund available
3–7 days before the start date — 50% refund available
Less than 3 days before the start date — no refund, but your place may be transferred to the next available cohort at no extra charge
After the course has begun — no refund for sessions already delivered. Remaining sessions may be transferred to another cohort at Nigel’s discretion

Personal Tuition Packages

For personal tuition packages (8 × 2hr sessions):

Before the first session — full refund available
After the first session — refund for unused sessions only, minus a 10% administration fee
Sessions must be cancelled with at least 24 hours notice to be rescheduled. Late cancellations will be counted as used sessions unless exceptional circumstances apply

Hourly Tuition Sessions

Individual sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice at no charge. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full unless exceptional circumstances apply.

Technical Issues

If a session cannot proceed due to technical issues on Nigel’s side (connectivity, equipment failure), the session will be rescheduled at no extra charge or refunded in full at the student’s preference.

How to Request a Refund

Contact Nigel directly at nigel@ancientlanguages.school with your order details and reason for the request. Nigel will respond within 48 hours. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days via the original payment method.
